I think you've got the right idea Spike ,if I just report a bad picture would I normally get a tech to call? because it would be the first ever since the original install (by ComTel).The only personell I ever see from NTL are attending to the numerous distribution boxes round my area.
AND I've just lost channel 5 again!(still,no real loss...)
