Next time stab holes in it and poke the garlic in to it (garnish with sprigs of fresh rosemary if you have it and glaze with honey), leave it overnight and then roast it...

You will be amazed!!!

I guarantee it, even more so if you bbq it over an indirect heat in a weber!!!

Cook lamb slowly and you will get excellent results, a leg of lamb done in a slow cooker all day is very hard to beat for flavour and texture.

If you cook it with stock, wine, onions, garlic and veg etc you can make some excellent gravies as well!!!
