I use to be a cable and wireless customer untill NTL took it over, now when I was with C&W I had caller waiting and if I was on the phone I would hear the beep and the person calling got a message telling then that the person they were calling knew that they were waiting or some thing like that....When NTL took over that message stopped so if I am on the phone now and some one else rings all the other person gets is the ringing tone constantly.
When I asked some one about this at NTL I was told that it was because I used to be a C&W customer and as such I couldn't have a message any more
Could some please explain it to me lol
