Just to confirm you are doing it right.
1) You should be accessing via the WAN IP address (prolly something like 81.xx.xx.xx
2) On the router, you should have port 80 forwarded to your computer (prolly something like 192.168.xx.xx)
3) The relevant incoming/outgoing port (80) should be opened on the XP firewall (or, just to try it, disable the XP firewall).
