A quick other thought. Where do teachers get their job satisfaction from? A kid goes through 11 years of school only to be halted at the exam hall door by a pair of quite tasteful and understated trainers. Kid loses and the teachers who delivered those 11 years lose.

And to get those who've not yet signed up to be under my command in the PC Brigade, think of all that taxpayers money down the plughole!
