I have no reason to doubt that the man who was initially accused of rape is completely innocent not just of this crime but of any other sex crime. I was being sarcastic. I should do it more often, seeing as this little outburst of irony has confused so many people
What I'm trying to say is, we have here a classic case of someone being accused of the kind of crime that usually gets the pitchfork-weilding mob out in force. That accusation is later found to be baseless. Yet,
if the initial accusation had been posted here, that man would doubtless have been hung, drawn and quartered, in a literary sense, within minutes.
