..fair point, but I've experienced this problem just after take off in a chopper, there was no mechanical reason, that I can think of, for it to do this.
I'd say the error isn't with FS2004, otherwise millions of other people (including myself) would be reporting it and I've not seen it before. Don't forget, choppers are a complete b@stard to handle as you don't actually have a proper collective to use etc.

But like I said, you need the realism setting cranked right up (and you need to learn how to use the autopilot for long flights read the manual or go through the video tutorials)
