I can't help thinking this discussion wouldn't be happening if we had not decided to publish our 'gentle reminder' thread this week.
The Powerball Highscores thread will remain, for exactly the same reason we don't insist on using the same thread every time someone feels like running a quiz: posts would get lost or confused otherwise. The highscores thread contains absolutely nothing but the current best score by a CF member, where it can easily be referred to and where a new highscore can easily be seen.
Now, given that we are on an on-topic drive this week, can we please stop grumbling about this. If anyone has a serious gripe they can PM any of the team. I will be deleting any further off-topic posts from this thread.
