I've got a dell not a toshiba laptop sorry.

If it's a standard laptop then it'll have a mini ide connector and no molex power connector (as it draws power directly through the interface)

Your best bet would be to get a cheapo external hard drive case and put it in that.

edit - a quick google has the following suggestion for the 1110....

'Had the same problem with a Toshiba Satellite 1135-S155.

Takes only one screw. The one that holds the CD/DVD drive. Pull (slide)out the drive and the hard drive is there.

The hard drive is held in by 6 screws. You will see them. Don't take the entire case apart, no need. '
