Time travel ... pah. Sometimes I think theoretical physicists approach papers on this subject in much the same way a 13-year-old does ahis favourite old edition of Penthouse.
It's plaininly impossible, otherwise we would have some evidence of it. If time travel were to become possible at any stage of the existence of the human race, I think we know enough about human nature to conclude that history would be destroyed by tourists, prospectors and treasure hunters.
As a concept, it has no application beyond the telling of ripping yarns on BBC1 each Saturday night.
