Hi Gazza, Welcome to the site.

Your computer seems to have a fairly good spec, so it might already have a NIC?

Have a read of the following Robin Walker pages which might help you.

USB to NIC Swap info & No Connection help.

Failing that, a call to ntl tech support might be necessary. (ntl Tech STB Support Number: 0845 650 0125)
