As it seems the ntl CD & the USB drivers don't work with XP64, I'd go with what Gaz said & use ethernet instead

Much easier anyway, & doesn't need the CD.

As your friend is using a Terayon, I assume the connection has actually already previously been set-up & registered (before he got his new 64bit system), as the Terayons aren't supplied any more.

In which case, no need for the CD at all if you use ethernet. Just a matter of doing a quick power cycle & swapping over: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d...b.html#usbswap
