I would guess it broadcast channels that can be broadcast over the internet for free anyway....

for example my girly watches TGN (Thai Global Network) over the net, which is all legit, much cheaper than paying ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£400 for the satellite to receive it + plus 400 other channels you don't want
