I've attached the picture which I took on my phone showing the current state of the box. The box has the following numbers on - 40443314 (printed on the lid at the side) and 40443315 (printed on the actual side of the box underneath the first number).

From what other people have said on here, it appears notifying NTL would not necessarily get it fixed but someone could be without their NTL services because of this wire (I'd better not get home and find its our house without the services!! ).

Should I still call NTL? Do the people have email addresses I could send that photo to so they can see the potential severity of the issue (may cause more than just one person without service in the future if people are gonna take to pulling cables out (if that is indeed what has happened)).
Well, if you don't call them to inform the box is broken, what chance do ntl have of fixing it? Call them, please.
