Just got back in, thanks for the replys, Rough, yep read some of that, wen't over the top but read my reply bellow about both HD's working

Thats the thing mate, it does have a working OS, as I said before, my HD will work in his machine and his will work on mine. Its all very confusing I think I'll format his again and re-install anyways, any more suggestions before I do
