Several instances of 'vote stealing' reported in our local paper. People turning up to vote and being told the had already voted by post. Apparently dear old John Humphreys and Mariella Frostrop suffered the same fate.

I had a Victor Melldrew moment the other day when I read a report about special time allowances for people with dyslexia taking GCSE & A level exams.
It also transpires that if a pupils pet has died the day before an exam they are to be allowed a 1% increase in marks and if it dies on the day of the exam a 2% adjustment is to be allowed. That is just plain stupid.
