Ive been told in thread that a comparison isn't fair
But in my opinion ,The G5 is a 64 bit chip so I can only put it up against the like,I wouldn't imagine the G5 will beat the newer P4 chips with 64 bit extention so maybe a comparison with a 2800xp64 on a really good fancy and very well equipt motherboard,a very well renowned operating system,in the main inadequate amounts of ram and low end gfx and hard drive
Again in my opinion the only G5 I would consider is the dual 2ghz model but thats £1349
