i can get audio and picture fine when i am watching it , the problem i have is when i record and then try and play back , the sound is distorted as if the input signal is too high , no amount of fiddling seems to cure it

, i tried turning the digi box sound down as far as it goes and it helped albeit slightly

, this has got me right stumped
