Well, the replacement remote arrived today (very prompt service from NTL

) but, just as I suspected, it still doesn't work
Just occured to me, the day that the remote stopped working was the same day that I was due to upgrade from anologue to digital. I had to cancel the appointment due to the fact that I had to go into hospital for an op at short notice. I am still receiving all of my channels as before, but would this have 'locked' the remote if they had started the 'ball rolling'??

What do you think???
