You could also down load the 'Yahoo toolbar'(
www.yahoo.co.uk & click on toolbar.)
That has a built in pop up blocker & anti-spy button & i've found them very good.
Do you have a good anti-virus program on the pc?
If not,do a google search for 'avg free edition' (made by Grisoft) & it's very popular.
