Tomorrow I shall be taking the plunge and getting a new system.

It will probably be:

Amd Athlon 64 3500 Winchester
2x512mb Geil 3200 Cas 2.5
Gigabyte K8NF-9 nForce4 (PCI-E)
Plus whatever the fastest PCI-E X800 is I can afford with change from ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£525 (200? seen an XT for ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£202 inc).

Some questions please:

1. Is this a well balanced system, i.e. am I better off going going for the 3800 San Diego and cutting back slightly on Graphics?

2. Is Geil Ram ok?

3. Is that Motherboard ok?

4. What does VIVO on a gc actually give you in the real world? Is it worth spending more to get VIVO?
