Re: Very Poor Speed - can you help?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help, before I resort to ntl's helpdesk.

I upgraded to 2MB service on 5th April (Samsung STB), and for first week I was quite pleased with the service. However in the last week or so I've noticed a slow down in speed.

After seeing this thread I ran a speed-test, below, and it confirmed problems with download speeds.

Rather than getting stuck on the phone I was wondering if some nice person could give any pointers.

Using XP connect to a router which is connected to the STB. No other PC's accessing the router when test was run.

cheers

Mark
