Theres a lot more in the differences between a man and a woman than purely body parts, ie different hormones and mentalities. A child stuck in a same sex maraige is not going to get the benefit of experiencing both outlooks on life etc.

Lets say a pair of ladies adopt a boy, He will benefit from having 2 mums in exactly what way, that would be better than having a mother and a father ?
