I've mentioned it to a few people at work today too. How long has this tariff been around, I hadn't heard of it until yesterday, you'd think ntl would inform customers of a better suited tariff, then again, that would earn them less money I guess.

For us, I'm hoping for a fair saving. With having kids on the phone to their mates / girlfriend on an evening it should make some savings for us. Currently my son on the phone to his girlfriend would cost 80p for a 40 min call (do all teenagers hog the phone...lol

) @ 2p a minute weekdays. One this new tariff that same call should cost just 5p.

We don't tend to make that many weekend calls, not enough to offset the potential saving during the week.
