Re: a clean install of XP

When I' do a fresh install of XP - I do.... Anti virus > chipset drivers > sound card (if it's seperate) > gfx drivers.

If it's going to have sp2 then I think I'd install that before the antivirus. Unless it's got sp2 already on the cd of course.

edit - and I don't mean anything by this..... but if it's not a %100 legal XP disc then do NOT have ANY network connections on it while installing.
