I used to have a very nice DNS specified that markedly sped up web page access on my NTL Broadband ... but then whoever owned it decided it shouldn't be public any more and it no longer worked for me.
Still, now I'm back on dial-up the whole world moves at snail's pace so it doesn't matter any more.
