Your best bet is to get a multi-voltage adaptor, thing is i dont think most do 5v but 4.5 and 6 either side of it, you could try 4.5 i guess, but if that isnt enough power to kick it into life, you COULD try 6 *DISCLAIMER - If you blow it up with 6 it isnt my fault!!!* OR you could add a resistor into the equation if youre brave enough!
