He's got two hard drives though so it depends on which channel the drives are attached to.

Primary master: hda
Primary slave: hdb
Secondary master: hdc
...etc

Then the drives are divided into partitions,

hda0 for the first partition on the primary master, hda1, hda2 etc etc
