I know this is a frustrating situation for you, but you must remember that the NTL staffers here will help a) if they
can b) if they think it appropriate to do so c) if they want to.
It's not really fair for any of us to bombard them with PM's every time we have an issue that we want them to look into for us, they use this forum (as we all do) for their own recreational purposes.
The best thing to do if you would like an NTL staffer who is a regular here to help you with this sort of thing is simply to post your problem to the board in the appropriate area. If any of them read it and are willing/able to help then they will.

I've got a SACM
and a Samsung box.
The box does the TV, the SACM does the internet. The two
aren't physically connected to each other and therefore
shouldn't suffer from any compatibility issues.....

You would, however, have to have 2 feeds coming into the house. One feed (or cable if you like) goes to the STB and the other goes to the SACM.
