I`m one of the people who gets 20 days a year including bank holidays.
What this means to me, is that in effect I can take off at the most, 1 @ 2week break during the year. The other days are fragmented as and when bank holidays fall.
If this gets through, what it will mean to me is that i will be allowed to take 2 @ 2week breaks plus have the bank holidays off.
When this government announced (I`m not sure when, a couple of years ago) that all workers would be entitled to 4 weeks holiday a year, I think it was meant to be had in weekly breaks and not spread in days off here and there.
