Re: Fraudently Took Money From Debit Card

Hi Colin and Regarding NTL ripping you off as you put it, I would doubt this very much.

While I would agree the Communications Agency does exist this would not be the body to get help with your problem, OFCOM are the ones as stated before.

I have seen a thread were a person had a debt with NTL and agreed to pay of this amount @ x amount each month plus their monthly payments for the services they had, this was going to be done by DD which they were advised would save a few pounds.

This person was on a tight budget like yourself being on benefit I think (canâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t find the post) and when they got their bank statement NTL had taken 100% of the debt plus the monthly charge leaving the person with only a few pounds for the month to live on.

While I would be hopping mad if I were this person, I donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t know where they would stand in getting a refund for the money taken even if it was a communication problem.

You need to calm down and talk to CS billing on Tuesday, but a little bit of advise donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t attack the person who answers the phone as they may just dig their heels in and not help you.

If the above is nothing like your situation and NTL have just taken for services you donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t have again phone CS billing.

Scroting gave you some good advise in post 2

Hope you get your problem sorted.
