Yeah they do seem quite loose dont they. Thats the thing with those SATA cables, they are quite fidley and can break easily.
Good luck with completing your system.
The most worrying time will be the first switch on, but its also a great time as you experience what you have built.
A few quick things to remeber whilst you are building:
- Remember that anti static wrist band !
- Make sure you connect up all the fans and cables.
- Use cable ties to neatly arrange wires and keep good space for airflow in the case.
- Make sure no screws or rubbish is left touching the motherboard and that the motherboard is not touching the case panel.
- Dont over tighten screws.
- Get a pack of rounded cables for your DVD drive and floppy for about £5 from overclockers. It will be easier to position them and not take up so much space.
- Leave space between the graphics card and PCI ports so it can breathe.
Put in your PCI cards slightly further down if you have several slots.
- Read your motherboard book thoroughly and check your connections twice before you power up.
