This is one of the cases where the death penalty would be be applauded by many. But since we don't have that option, I agree that he should be locked up for life. However, the chances are that we would get some bleeding heart liberal type claiming that we should try to understand the offender, maybe counsel them, and try to integrate them back into society once they had served their time. Or some other such cr*p.
