Your parents won't lose anything by swapping the box but you can argue the point that it is more reliable/ stable than the Pace units and it's a nice shiny silver unit that looks a lot nicer than the old STBs.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I'll certainly try and put the case for the new box - my parents are always complaining about having to reset the box (usually on a Saturday night for some reason) so that should give me some ammunition! I prefer to keep using the box rather than a cable modem anyway, it's so much simpler.
