I've said it before and no doubt I will say it again, the problem with PCs and their setups is that no 2 PCs are alike and no 2 PCs behave exactly the same. You may have a totally rock solid setup using the Belkin router with your PC but many people have problems with Belkin equipment (myself included). There is no saying if dannero would have problems with the Belkin if he tried it but Linksys and Netgear equipment often seems to be more reliable, better supported easier to use.
I'm glad your setup is working correctly but since you have only had it for 1 month you may find that the router may start mis-behaving after a while. I know I had the misfortune to suffer a problematic wired router which behaved perfectly for a couple of months but after that I was constantly having to reboot it to regain my connection
Good luck with your setup, hopefully you will find that it remains solid for you
