Since i have been mentioned... thought i'd contribute, although some of the posts in this thread had me reeling and i opted to stay out of it....
I'd much prefer a man to be honest.... then i can either say
yes or
no. It saves us both a lot of time and the man in question, saves his breath too
I'd only find the lying in order to get a 'screw' as you put it, offensive and patronising and it would ensure a negative response... or if i found out too late.... i'd have to track him down and find a way to repay his abuse of trust :p
