Hiya,

I've been having this problem for months now and I figured I should probably ask someone what's up

Whenever I dial in, it's touch and go whether I'll get a full two-hour connection or not. I don't know if any T&Cs have changed but surely it shouldn't randomly cut-off anywhere from 1 minute to a half-hour :/

I say "random" because I could sit in a relatively idle state for about 10 minutes, then as soon as I try to load a page or send an instant message, it'll cut off. It's almost like there's a cap of about half a megabyte or something

I don't really do a lot of downloading anymore and I rarely play online games (due to this problem mainly) but it's always nice if your mates want to see if you're up for a pint or something

I just wanted to know if this is a known issue or could it be something at my end? I've tried re-installing my drivers for the modem I have & re-installing that damn dialler software but to no avail.

My local ADSL exchange has just became active and now I finally have another full-time job I think I'll go for that when I sort out pricing etc, but it'd be nice to get this resolved in the meantime. I'm going to try also buying another extension cable but I don't really think it's that that's causing it.
