I've also got the same slow downloading problem as gregt at the moment (uploading is fine). I've tried everything apart from getting a new modem (trying it on my laptop without extension cable - made no difference, checking settings, etc.) and I'm also getting the problem where the errors build up. So, gregt, hav you managed to solve the problem? Is it worth getting a new ADSL modem which has an ethernet socket on it as well as USB, because this is the only thing I haven't tried, but I'm concerned about spending the money on it and it not making any difference. Was there any other solution you or anyone else has managed to find? Any help would be appreciated!
