I have to say that when I first read this story I thought the same as everyone else.That is until I reread it and noted how old he was when the accident occured.

However I do think that perhaps the sum is a tad over the top when other people don't get similar treatment for similar occurences...It does seem unfair that other victims of negligence or crime don't recieve similar sums.
That was my point (though not as eloquently put). I'm still keeping out though, honest I'll just watch from a safe distance
