I disagree with them.

I'm all for caps - I like my service nice and fast, without the 24 x 7 bandwidth hogs who feel the need to download the entire internet each month. Caps are the obvious way to limit such people - and if it drives them away from ntl then even better.

Well passing lightly over the fact that you have no proof that anybody's internet connection has been degraded by other users downloading 24 x 7, this attitude is utterly astonishing. The only possible excuse for you is a vested interest in ntl's profits.
