I have the same problem being astmatic, fortunatey i dont need to pay for another few monthes. but i had a year out 2 years ago from full time education, and worked in a food shop and during his time my astma got quite bad and i was paying nearly ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£30 on prescriptions and on my pay it was quite a lot!
So everytime i go in for a checkup now my doctor always asks if pay for prescriptions and gives me 6 inhalers...so enough to keep me going for a long time!
I'm not sure if theres something at university where you can claim back fees for prescriptions, and glasses and things?
