don't know about your area, but try going to
http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/e...cablemodem.php and selecting the 2Mbps option. All you need top know is your user name and email password. I did it about 10 mins ago and now have the higher speed (North Essex). Never thought that anything to do with NTL could be so easy.
