I live in Cambridge and the automatic upgrade (
http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/e...tierMigration/) worked for me straight away, upgrading from 750 kbs to 2 Mbs. I didn't notice any loss of service while the modem rebooted, and a speed check at
http://speedtest.tds.net/speedtest/ confirmed the upgrade had taken place. A really nice service!
