yes as soon as i came off the phone,i started firefox and it opened straight at the NTL start/reg page so i re-entered my details and then shut off the pc and reset the STB ,and i see Carter and many others have already answered you far better than i could ..

It's nothing at all to do with the contract etc, it's just because the stb has received a new signal that you have to re-register the pc onto the network.
