This is madness! Have not checked my connection today so don't know if it's working or not, however, how can there be such constant problems in one area? They know there is a problem, fix it - it's not rocket science! I have phoned the broadband helpdesk up on 3 occasions this year and every time that recorded message is there - beginning to wonder if it's permanent!
