After phoning for a second time and asking nicely (well, ok I begged
) my stb has been upgraded to 3Mb. I didn't have to go through the autoreg process again which seems a bit odd as others have had to but downloading from ftp.mirror.ac.uk is giving me speeds in excess of 300Kb whereas I used to get about 180 so it seems to have worked. Thanks NTL
