Everybody is saying be greatful for the free upgrade, I don't understand why? We do pay for the service, they're increasing their speeds to compete with ADSL and Telewest. If orangebird's timescale is correct then it's a absurd upgrade for STB users.

When push comes to shove the original speed was 512 so should have ntl have billed you for the extra speed you were getting. No !!!! Ntl are giving customers a free upgrade, you haven't lost anything in fact you're gaining yet still it's time to moan and groan about it all. Compensation, my arse !!!!
