Watchdog is crap. It's a shadow of its former self. A few years ago, that recent expose on ntl would have had far reaching consequences. As it stands, hardly anyone cared. They filled it with stupid shots of Campbell massaging his ego by doing a pointless roleplay, do they think anyone is impressed? They took three scenarios that were worthy of mention, and camped them up to the point that they had very little impact. Dumbing down again I'm afraid.

This doesn't relate specifically to ntl, EVERY case they handle is done in this way nowadays. Bring back Lynn Faulds-Wood.

The person raised a decent question. It's weird that ntl didn't scream it from the rooftops, especially considering all the other ISP's are upgrading speeds too. And with ntl having a national advantage with the 3mb speed, you'd think they'd wanna let everyone know about it, before they have a chance to sign up for their competitors. BT are still in the process of upgrading, yet they've screamed it from the rooftops, and they've explained that current users will have to be patient as each area is upgraded. Ntl should have done the same thing. Even telling their staff would have been nice.
As has been pointed out, ntlworld is the consumer portal, it also covers dialup customers.

The speed increases are advertised on the main site perfectly well.
