The *only* people who need a new bit of equipment are those who use a Pace set-top box (STB) for their broadband - if they want the 2mb or 3mb service, they need to have the Pace STB replaced with a Samsung STB.
All of the standalone cable modems (SACMs) that ntl use (Terayon, Motorola, "ntl:home" badged Ambits, etc) can quite easily handle the new speeds. |
Thanks, but this modem is really old..and as i said in the post before, i seem to be DL at at 1mb speed rather than a 2mb, although i have definitely uograded. Even the speed tests tell me Im using 1mb speed.
