Well its happened as advised by uni just went to
http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/.../tierMigration/ clicked on upgrade your modem then on upgrade to 750 or 150 what ever speed you are on, it then asks you to log in with username and password. That done I had the option to upgrade my speed to 2mb from 750 after an auto reboot I'm on 2mb
Did not see an option for the people on 300
